Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for a new tactician after parting ways with co-coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef on Tuesday.

The duo has been in charge of the Glamour Boys since the sacking of Tunisian Nasreddine Nabi just six games into the 2025/26 Premier Soccer League campaign. In their brief stint at the helm, Amakhosi finished third on the table for the first time in six years.

However, they struggled to deliver in other competitions, notably the Nedbank Cup and Carling Knockout. The Soweto giants did quite well in the CAF Confederation Cup, narrowly missing the knockout phase despite a tough group that included Zamalek, Al Masr, and ZESCO United.

The Chiefs’ management felt they needed to make a change in the technical team, which explains the decision made.
