Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze feels his team lacked composure in front of goal and that is why they were not able to beat Polokwane City on their goalless draw on Saturday which ended a run of five straight wins.
“We knew that Polokwane they were going to defend and try to catch us on the transitions with a lot of long balls that’s how they were, probably in the second half at the end I believe we lost a little bit of control of the game and we allowed them to get confident, to get into situations of crosses, situations of transitions which they liked,” Kaze told SuperSport TV as per KickOff
“But you know it’s a good point away from home and now we’re going to focus on the next game.

McCarthy was taken off after 43 minutes to be replaced by Inacio Miguel and although the club is yet to give an update, it looks like he could be out for a number of games, starting with next Sunday’s Soweto Derby.

Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Lebohang Maboe was left disappointed by the fact that they could not secure a win away to Polokwane City on Saturday following a goalless draw.
Chiefs had won five straight matches ahead of Saturday’s clash but Rise and Shine forced them into a share of the spoils.
“These were not the results we wanted but we playing away from home so we knew it was going to be a difficult game. We are just going to have to settle for the point. We knew they going to play their game with those long balls,” he told SuperSport TV.
“I think we came here well prepared but just didn’t create enough opportunities. But at the same time, we can’t be ungrateful and have to take the point.”
