Kaizer Chiefs will turn their attention to league action when they host Siwelele FC in the PSL on Wednesday looking to end a run of three games without a win.
Chiefs played out a goalless draw with AS Simba from DR Congo in the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday, extending their run without a win to three games across all competitions.
That leaves them under pressure to deliver a win to their fans and Siwelele represent the best opportunity to do that as they have been struggling in the league.

Kaizer Chiefs vs Siwelele FC form guide
Chiefs have just one win in their last seven games in all competitions, the 1-0 triumph against Kabuscorp of Angola in the CAF Confederation Cup first preliminary round, and since then, they have drawn with AmaZulu 1-1 in the league, lost in the Carling Knockout to Stellenbosch FC on post-match penalties, before the stalemate in DR Congo.
In the league, Chiefs are still waiting for a win since beating Golden Arrows 1-0 on August 30 before following it up with a 3-1 defeat to Sekhukhune United, their first loss of the season, and back-to-back 1-1 draws against Marumo Gallants and AmaZulu have followed.

That leaves them in fourth position with 15 points, six behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, but Chiefs, who have played eight games, have two matches in hand.
Meanwhile, Siwelele are in dire straits as they have just two wins in the PSL, the opening day 3-1 victory over Golden Arrows and the 1-0 defeat of Gallants on September 28, and between those wins, there have been six losses and a draw that leaves them in 14th position with seven points from nine games.

Kaizer Chefs team news
Kaizer Chiefs confirmed that they will miss close to 10 players in the match with George Matlou, Ethan Chislett, Paseka Mako, Bontle Molefe, Given Msimango, and Rushwin Dortley all sidelined while Lebohang Maboe, Etiosa Ighodaro and Nkanyiso Shinga are in a race against time.
That leaves coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze with a major headache but they have to find solutions from those available.

What have they said?
Kaze expects a tough game from Siwelele despite their poor run of form and is keen to avoid complacency within his squad.
“It’s true that they didn’t start the season well, but in their last few games, they look like they’re putting things together and improving,” Kaze told the media.
“It’s going to be a very difficult game against a team that defends well — they’re compact, disciplined, and willing to work hard to protect their goal. We’ve been struggling to score goals lately, but I’m confident that we’re prepared to do everything we can to unlock them—and to defend well ourselves.”
