Kaizer Chiefs and Stellenbosch will renew their rivalries when the two sides clash in the PSL at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.
It will be the second meeting between these two sides this month, the fourth of the season, and in the three previous games, Stellies have the edge.
Stellenbosch, who opened the season with a 2-0 loss to Chiefs, got their revenge in two cup competitions, knocking Amakhosi out of the Carling Knockout in October, before eliminating them from the Nedbank Cup early this month.

With Chiefs also out of the CAF Confederation Cup, the league is the only competition left for them to contest and they will be keen to avoid another defeat to Stellies which could derail their chances of fighting with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns for the PSL title.
Form guide
Chiefs have not played since February 14 when they lost to Zamalek in the Confederation Cup to exit the competition, meaning they are well rested and come into the game on the back of five wins, three draws and two losses in their last 10 games.
The two defeats were in cup matches against Zamalek and Stellenbosch and in the league, they are yet to lose since a 3-1 defeat to Sekhukhune United on September 16, coach Nasreddine Nabi’s last game in charge, a run of nine unbeaten league games.

However, that run includes just four wins with disappointing draws against Marumo Gallants, AmaZulu FC, Siwelele FC, Chippa United and TS Galaxy, teams they should have easily dispatched.
It means there are no guarantees over three points against Gavin Hunt’s Stellenbosch, who have had a tough season with just four league wins in 16 games, drawing as many and losing eight, to leave them in a relegation battle as they sit in position 13 with 16 points, just four more than bottom-placed Magesi.
Stellies have just two wins in their last 10 games across all competitions, losing five and drawing three over that period. The club is yet to start enjoying the new manager bounce as Hunt has just two wins in his eight games in charge but one of them is against his ex-club Chiefs which should add to his motivation.

Head-to-head record
Kaizer Chiefs have bossed this fixture even if Stellies have claimed two wins this season as the Glamour Boys have seven wins in their last 10 meetings.
Chiefs’ last win was in the season opener, when they won 2-0, before Stellies beat them on post-match penalties in the Carling Knockout last October after a goalless draw in regulation time, before a 2-1 victory in the Nedbank Cup early this month.
Team news
With the Soweto Derby on the horizon, Chiefs will be looking to get all three points but coaches Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef might be tempted to rotate.

The Soweto giants have few injury concerns but have three players in Aden McCarthy, Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Mfundo Vilakazi in danger of missing the derby as they are on three yellow cards each.
Stellenbosch coach Hunt is integrating his new players into the squad and will likely unleash ex-Pirates defender Olisa Ndah while new arrival Kabomelo Kodisang will also play apart but on-loan Pirates striker Tshegofatso Mabasa will likely be out after missing the last four games with an injury.
Time and where to watch
The match will kick off at 19:30 at the FNB Stadium and will be live on SuperSport 202.
