The attacker played 10 league games for the Red Devils last season and scored seven goals but the former club midfielder believes he is done.
Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau hinted a couple of days ago that he might be leaving Egyptian heavyweights Al Ahly.
The 30-year-old South African reportedly fell out with coach Marcel Koller after being left out of the league game against Smouha despite being fit and ready. The Red Devils eventually won the game by a solitary goal to successfully defend their crown.
Koller has asked the Al Ahly management to consider loaning or selling the star since he will not be in his plans for next season.

‘Tau's level has declined'
Winger Ahmed Abdelkader is another player who might be let go after struggling to make an impact for the club in the 2023/24 campaign.
Tau has been heavily linked to Wydad Athletic Club which is under Rulani Mokwena. But former Al Ahly midfielder Ramadan El Sayed argues the South Africa international might not be an ideal signing for the Red Castle, and went on to explain why he should be released alongside Abdelkader.
“Al Ahly will not be affected by Ahmed Abdelkader's departure and even if Percy Tau leaves, I think a distinguished winger will be added,” he told Al Masry Al Youm.
“Abdelkader was absent from matches a lot, and he was not very influential in the current season. I feel that Percy Tau wants to leave Al Ahly, and his level has clearly declined.”

Why does Mokwena need new players?
The former Mamelodi Sundowns coach was appointed and given a three-year contract by the North Africans.
Last season, Wydad Athletic Club finished sixth on the Botola Pro league table which was won by Raja Casablanca, under the leadership of former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer.
Mokwena has been given the mandate to help the team get back to the top of Moroccan football and the continent at large. He will then be hoping to make an impact at the expanded 2025 Fifa Club World Cup to be held in the United States.
Former Sundowns midfielder Bongani Zungu is another player who has been linked with a move to Morocco.
