Orlando Pirates fan favourite Kabelo Dlamini is reportedly edging closer to the exit door at the Soweto giants, with Stellenbosch FC said to be on the verge of securing his signature in a swap deal.
According to iDiski Times, negotiations between the two clubs are at an advanced stage, with the transaction potentially including Faiz Abrahams and Dublin Boon moving in the opposite direction to Orlando Stadium.
The two clubs have already done business this transfer window, with defender Thabiso Lebitso moving to the Cape Winelands side whilst Mthetheleli Mthiyane joined Pirates in return.

In a heartfelt conversation with Radio 2000, Naomi Mofokeng reflected on her son’s journey from the dusty Sharpeville pitches to becoming one of South Africa’s most exciting young talents.
“As a mother, you see something from birth not when you close. So I saw it coming because I myself was a footballer and the father also is a football player. So I knew that they say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree,” she said, as quoted by KickOff.
“From 11 years, he was playing under 13 at 11 years old. So, I saw the potential, the capability and ability there. When he was young, I went to each and every game, even at the gym, I was there,” he said of the 21-year-old Pirates forward.
Buccaneers bolster left-back position
Orlando Pirates have reportedly sealed the signing of highly rated 20-year-old left-back Neo Rapoo from Siwelele FC, adding further depth to a position that was fiercely contested throughout the previous season.
Soccer Laduna reported that the deal was concluded after weeks of negotiations, with all parties agreeing on a transfer fee and personal terms despite Rapoo still having a year remaining on his contract with an option in Siwelele’s favour.
The acquisition makes Rapoo the third player Pirates have recruited from the Bloemfontein-based Siwelele FC in this transfer window, following the earlier arrivals of Bohlale Ngwato and Gamphani Lungu.
