Orlando Pirates could break their scoring record during the Soweto Derby as they are just three goals away from smashing it.
Pirates have banged in 50 goals so far from 25 games this term and their record is 52, set in the whole of the 2004-05 campaign, which is set to go down this season but it can even happen in the derby.
If the Buccaneers secure another 3-0 win, like they did in February, then they will smash their club record and still have four matches to play.

Orlando Pirates legend Albert ‘Bashin’ Mahlangu has told his ex-team to be wary of Kaizer Chiefs in the Soweto Derby as they are an unpredictable team that can spring up a surprise any time.
“When it comes to the derby, it doesn’t matter what you did the last time. Pirates players must forget everything that has happened recently and play the derby as if it were their first,” he told KickOff.
“They must tell themselves that, ‘We are here to collect three points, nothing else’.”

Orlando Pirates host Kaizer Chiefs in the 182nd Soweto Derby at the FBN Stadium on Sunday and given what is at stake, it is the Buccaneers who cannot afford to drop points.
Pirates have won the last five meetings against Chiefs in the league and will be praying that the trend continues as anything else could spell the end for their title push.
Abdeslam Ouaddou’s side lead the PSL standings with 58 points from 25 matches, one ahead of Mamelodi Sundowns, who have played a game less.
Given Sundowns play later on Sunday, they will have two games in hand and in case Pirates draw or lose, the Brazilians could open up a four or five-point lead, if they claim victories in the two matches.
