Pirates have gone with a largely unchanged starting XI with Sipho Chaine in goal and Lebone Seema as well as Nkosinathi Sibisi in central defence, flanked by Kamogelo Sebelebele and Deon Hotto at right and left full-back respectively.

In central midfield, it is Makhehlene Makhaula and Thalente Mbatha forming an experienced double pivot with Relebohile Mofokeng just ahead in the number 10 role.

Tshepang Moremi and Oswin Appollis will play on the wings with Yanela Mbuthuma as the main striker.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs have also gone with the tried and tested with Brandon Petersen in goal while Aden McCarthy and Given Msimango partner at the heart of defence, a surprise the decision that sees Inacio Miguel drop to the bench.

Thabiso Monyane plays against his former side at right-back while Bradley Cross is deployed at left-back.

Chiefs have opted for a defensive-looking midfield three of Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Lebohang Maboe and Ndlovu Siphesihle while in attack, there is a surprise as Pule Mmodi and Glody Lilepo play on the wings as Wandile Duba is deployed as the main striker with Flavio Da Silva is benched.
