WATCH: Sundowns stars wow fans with best moves at Aubrey Modiba’s wedding

Mamelodi Sundowns stars wowed the crowd as they displayed their best moves and sense of fashion when they attended team-mate Aubrey Modiba’s traditional wedding.

Modiba tied the knot with his long-time partner at his home in Limpopo province on Saturday and the wedding was graced by family and friends, who included his Sundowns team-mates.

The couple danced to traditional music during the ceremony and among those showing their best moves were defender Grant Kekana and midfielder Teboho Mokoena who turned up to support their team-mate.

Modiba formalised union to long-time partner

Modiba and his partner have been living together for some years and are blessed with two children but had not formalised their union.

The defender has decided to use his off-season by sorting that out and will now return for pre-season under new marital status.

Modiba will also be hoping for an improvement in fortunes next season after playing second fiddle to Divine Lunga at left-back at the FIFA Club World Cup.

Will the Sundowns left-back regain his place?

The experienced defender has been at Sundowns since 2020 when he joined from SuperSport United, making 163 appearances, scoring nine goals and providing 17 assists.

The four-time PSL winner made 35 appearances across all competitions last season and managed four assists but saw Lunga preferred ahead of him at the Club World Cup, where he did not play a single minute.

Sundowns are due to return for pre-season on Monday July 21 as coach Miguel Cardoso plots how to conquer the PSL again as they will be looking for a ninth title win in a row while seeking to go one better in the CAF Champions League after losing last season’s final.
