Super Eagles hopeful Tolu Arokodare found the net once again for KRC Genk as they secured a 2-1 victory over Standard Liège in the Belgian top flight on Friday.
Arokodare started the match and played a key role in most of Genk’s attacking moves.

It was his side that broke the deadlock in the 35th minute when Christopher Bonsu Baah found the back of the net to give Genk the lead.
The first half ended with the away side in control.
In the 78th minute, Arokodare doubled Genk’s advantage with a fine finish from a Jan Steuckers assist.
Standard managed to pull one back late in the game, with Dennis Eckert Ayensa scoring in the final minute from the spot to make the scoreline more respectable.
Arokodare’s goal was his 14th of the season.

The former Nigeria U17 forward started the game but was substituted in the 82nd minute, making way for Hyun-gyu Oh in what was his 26th appearance of the season in the Jupiler Pro League.
He found the net once, registered two shots on target, and had three attempts off target.
Arokodare successfully completed both of his dribbling attempts and recorded 41 touches throughout the game.

His passing was decent, completing 14 of his attempted passes with a 64 percent accuracy rate.
He had four attempts cleared inside the box and succeeded in one of the two long balls he attempted.
In duels, Arokodare won three of his four ground duels and dominated aerially, winning six of his nine headed contests.
So far this season, across all competitions, he has scored 15 goals and provided six assists in 26 matches.
