Nigerian forward Tolu Arokodare has expressed his desire for a dream move to Spanish giants Real Madrid, stating that it would be the only club he’d consider leaving Genk for.

Arokodare has emerged as a key player under Thorsten Fink's leadership at Genk this season, contributing significantly to their position at the top of the Jupiler Pro League.

The towering striker has netted an impressive 15 goals so far in 21 games, with 13 coming in league play and an additional two in the Belgian Cup, confirming his pivotal role in the team's success.

In a recent interview with Het Laatste Nieuws as shared by Voetbalkrant, Arokodare revealed that, the allure of a potential move to Real Madrid is the only opportunity he considers truly golden.

“If it's not for Real Madrid, I don't see why it would be a golden opportunity. If an opportunity arises that is good for me and for Genk, then we will see. I am now focusing on getting even more points.”

With his contract with the Belgian outfit set to expire in June 2027, the 24-year-old has drawn interest from Turkish Süper Lig side Trabzonspor and Premier League club Fulham.

Arokodare made the move to Genk from Amiens SC in January 2023 for a transfer fee of €5 million.

Last season, he found the back of the net 15 times in 52 appearances across all competitions, but this year, he has taken his game to another level, demonstrating remarkable improvement and consistency.
