Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been making headlines in recent weeks, with several top European clubs showing interest ahead of the summer transfer window, Afrik-Foot reports.
The Nigerian forward has built a strong reputation over the past few years with his goalscoring form and it is no surprise that he has continued to attract interest from clubs looking to strengthen their attack.
Premier League side Arsenal are the latest side to be linked with Osimhen and even had sporting director, Andrea Berta, in attendance at Rams Park last Sunday for the Istanbul derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahce.

The Spaniard also met with Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek after the match, fueling speculation that the North London club could make a move for the Nigerian forward this summer.
Spanish heavyweights Barcelona and Real Madrid are also monitoring the situation closely as they hope to convince Galatasaray to part ways with their star forward ahead of the summer window.

Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has enjoyed a strong spell in Turkey with Galatasaray and now looks set to continue his journey with the club.
The 27-year-old joined from Napoli on loan in 2024 and played a key role in their success that season. That performance convinced the club to pay a Turkish record €75 million to sign him permanently last summer and he has continued to deliver, scoring 20 goals across all competitions this season despite dealing with injuries.
At one point, it seemed likely that he would leave this summer due to growing interest from top clubs and the recent visit of Arsenal’s sporting director to Istanbul, which had cast doubts over his long-term future at Galatasaray.
However, according to Buchi Laba via SportsBoom, Andrea Berta’s meeting with Dursun Ozbek had nothing to do with transfers, dismissing talks of a move to the North London club.
“The meeting was not about Victor Osimhen or player-related matters,” Buchi Laba revealed.
“There were no negotiations, and no player names were mentioned. What has been circulated in the media is fake and nothing more.”
Galatasaray have also reportedly slapped a huge valuation on Osimhen to discourage interested clubs, while the Nigerian forward is revealed to be happy at the Turkish champions.

The 27-year-old has endeared himself to the fans of the club with his performances and commitment on the pitch and their relationship looks set to continue into another season.
For now, attention turns to Saturday’s clash against Samsunspor, where Galatasaray could seal their fourth straight Turkish Super Lig title and Osimhen’s second with the club with a win.
