Lazio manager Marco Baroni has praised the potential of Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, stressing the importance of patience and adaptation for the Super Eagles midfielder.

Dele-Bashiru was instrumental in The Biancocelesti's 2-0 victory over FC Twente in Thursday's Europa League clash. He provided an assist to Gustav Isaksen, helping to double Lazio's lead, and earned commendations from his manager for his outstanding performance.

However, the Italian manager emphasised the need for time and adaptation as the young midfielder adjusts to a new environment, noting that he has the quality to grow exponentially.

Baroni: Patience essential for Dele-Bashiru's growth

Baroni, in the aftermath of the game, noted that every athlete experiences a transition period in a new environment and expressed confidence in Dele-Bashiru's quality.

“Dele is not a surprise, you have to give him time.

“There is a path that every player, when he arrives in a different environment, with different attention, has to create. He has quality and will grow exponentially, I am convinced of that,” Baroni said as per Lazio News.
