John Mikel Obi has issued a firm warning to his former club Chelsea; sign Victor Osimhen or regret it.
The former Super Eagles captain didn’t hold back on the Obi One podcast, going hoarse in his praise of the Galatasaray forward.
It’s not the first time Mikel has called for Osimhen to join the Blues, but the urgency in his voice this time shows the stakes are higher than ever.

“They [Galatasaray] have the best finisher right now in Europe. I don’t see any better,” Mikel said.
“The way he plays with hunger, aggression, scoring goals, creating chances, everything he does has been fantastic.
“I’ve always said it. Osimhen is a player who wins you trophies, gets you into the top four, and is incredibly reliable.

“I know Victor, he wants to break records and keep winning. Wherever he goes, he’ll bring trophies. He did it at Napoli. He went to Galatasaray and brought them two titles. He’s a born winner.”
Osimhen’s transfer dossier in 365 days
Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen dates back to last summer when they made a last-ditch effort to sign him. Talks with Napoli fell through, and Osimhen instead joined Galatasaray on loan.
The result? A blistering return of 36 goals in 40 appearances, with key goals in the final week sealing both the Super Lig title and Turkish Cup.
He’s been adored in Istanbul, but the 26-year-old is still eyeing a Premier League move, with Chelsea his preferred destination.

According to Il Matino, Osimhen has already rejected an offer from Juventus, holding out for a club playing in the Champions League. Galatasaray, sensing his importance, are working to sign him permanently, but his €75 million release clause is a sticking point.
Despite Chelsea getting linked to other targets like Liam Delap, no one carries Osimhen’s firepower and guaranteed output.
