Galatasaray's hopes of holding on to their star striker Victor Osimhen hang by a thread, as club president Dursun Özbek confirmed the Super Eagles forward has received a staggering €120 million offer from Saudi Arabia.
The striker, who joined the Turkish giants on a season-long loan from Napoli in September 2024, has quickly established himself as a cult hero at Galatasaray, playing a pivotal role in securing the club’s third consecutive league title with a string of outstanding performances.
Amid growing interest from some of Europe’s top clubs, his future at Galatasaray remains uncertain.

While the Turkish champions are eager to retain the services of their talismanic forward, Özbek conceded that the financial might of Saudi clubs presents a significant challenge. As a result, the club now faces an anxious wait for Osimhen’s final decision in the coming weeks.

In a recent interview as shred by Fotomac, Özbek acknowledged that the financial power of Saudi clubs poses a major obstacle to securing Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal.
“We can compete with European clubs, but not with Saudi Arabia,” he said.
“He has received a €120 million offer for three years. Osimhen will give us his decision in one or two weeks. He’s had beautiful moments at Galatasaray and knows he won’t find this love elsewhere. Whatever decision he makes, we will align our strategy accordingly.”

Osimhen, whose loan spell at Galatasaray is nearing its end, has delivered an outstanding return of 36 goals and six assists in 40 appearances for the Turkish giants.
The 26-year-old's contract with Napoli includes a release clause of €75 million (£63.2 million), a figure that has piqued the interest of several elite clubs across Europe.
Premier League giants Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring the striker, while Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al Hilal have also been linked with a potential move.
