As the future of Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen remains uncertain, Turkish giants Galatasaray are reportedly setting their sights on a major signing: Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
With Osimhen’s form continuing to impress in Istanbul, the club is already preparing for a potential change at the top of their attacking line-up.
Osimhen’s loan move from Napoli has proven to be a resounding success. Since arriving at Galatasaray, he has delivered eight goals and four assists in just ten appearances.
He has managed to seal his role as a key player in their attacking unit, and his contributions have made him one of the standout performers in the Turkish Süper Lig this season already.

However, despite his impressive displays on the pitch, rumours surrounding his future persist.
Several European clubs are reportedly keeping a close eye on Osimhen, with many eager to lure him away from Istanbul during the next transfer window.
Galatasaray is reportedly considering a daring move for Salah as part of their backup plan should Osimhen leave.
Turkish football analyst Serdar Ali Çelikler has confirmed that the club is seriously considering pursuing the Egyptian star, whose contract with Liverpool is set to expire at the end of the season.
“Even if Osimhen doesn't stay, Galatasaray will get a player of that level.
“There won't be a serious loss of level after this. Galatasaray is really thinking about Mohamed Salah. It's an extremely difficult transfer, but they are thinking about it,” he said.
While the deal would undoubtedly be a complex one, with stiff competition from other top-tier clubs, Galatasaray’s ambition remains clear.
But for now, Osimhen remains important to Galatasaray as they push for both domestic and European glory.
