Hull City are currently on a run of two wins from their last eight games, but have been tipped to be a part of the final four in the EFL Championship play-offs, Afrik Foot reports.
Sergej Jakirovic has transformed the Old Gold from a side struggling to stay in the Championship last campaign to Premier League table toppers.
Their recent form has seen them drop down to sixth, but they’ve been backed to steady their ship.
Semi Ajayi, despite his injuries, has proven to be a rock at the back for Hull City.

The 32-year-old has been dealing with hamstring injuries since the start of 2025, suffering four tears.
Still, he’s managed to start 15 games for Hull City. Six of those ended in wins, sealing eighteen points for Jakirovic’s men.

Aaron McLean backs Hull City for Championship play-offs spot
McLean played 84 games for the Old Gold and has backed them to overturn their poor run of form with four league games left to play.
“I must say I believed Ipswich would finish second,” he told the BBC.
“I think in terms of who was going to win it, it was always going to come down to the head-to-head between Coventry and Middlesbrough, and Coventry winning in such convincing fashion kicked them on and almost dismantled Middlesbrough’s season.
“So I think what you’re seeing now is Ipswich being the most consistent team, and they have games in hand on Middlesbrough and Millwall in the race for second place.

“From their past nine games, they have six wins and three draws. Middlesbrough, by comparison, have gone six games without a win.
“Middlesbrough, even with all the possession they had against one of the bottom teams, they’re not clinical like they were earlier in the season.
“Millwall and Hull (City) have dropped off a bit, but just being in and around the play-offs and being talked about as a team that could have gone on and got automatic promotion is still a huge positive.
“They’re going to get little bumps in the road, and it’s about how they react, and I expect both of them to bounce back,” the 42-year-old concluded.

Hull City will play against Birmingham City, Leicester City, Charlton Athletic and Norwich City, and need at least two victories to be a part of the four teams that’ll make it to the play-offs.
Coventry City have been assured a place in the English Premier League next season, while Ipswich Town and Middlesbrough are in a fight to clinch second spot.
Hull City, Southampton and Millwall will be looking to battle it out at Wembley next month to secure top-flight status.
