He contributed 11 goals and 7 assists in 37 league games, firing them into the promotion playoff spots, though they ultimately missed out on reaching the Premier League.

​Several clubs have been linked with the versatile 25-year-old, but none have submitted a formal bid just yet.

​Premier League returnees Ipswich Town had been linked with Azeez for most of the summer. This was hardly surprising, as a player of his quality could make a major difference, but that move now looks quite unlikely.

​Why Femi Azeez Might Join Hull City Instead of Ipswich Town

​As it stands, it appears unlikely that Azeez will move to Ipswich Town, given how active the club has been in the summer transfer market.

​They recently signed Issahaku Fatawu from Leicester City for €23.5 million. Because the Ghanaian plays in the same position as Azeez, Ipswich are unlikely to pursue the Super Eagles star this summer.

​With Ipswich Town out of the mix, Hull City has emerged as a realistic destination. Hull won the Championship playoffs and desperately need to splash the cash this summer if they want to stay afloat in the Premier League next season.

​They have been relatively quiet in the transfer market so far, but with Ipswich stepping aside, The Tigers now have a clear path to swoop in.

​Given that Azeez has two years left on his contract, Millwall are open to a sale. They value their forward at €17.6 million — a very reasonable price tag, especially considering Hull pocketed well over €100 million for winning the Championship playoffs.
