Nigeria star, Kelechi Iheanacho is attracting interest from multiple Premier League clubs as he searches for a new home following his departure from Leicester City.

According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest and Ipswich Town are among the English clubs keen on securing the signature of the 27-year-old, who has been a free agent since the end of last season.

Forest, in particular, are eager to reunite the striker with his compatriots Taiwo Awoniyi and Ola Aina, and believe they can offer a compelling package to tempt him to the City Ground.

Meanwhile, newly-promoted Ipswich are hoping to bolster their squad with a player of Iheanacho's experience as they prepare for life back in the top flight.

While Turkish clubs Trabzonspor and Galatasaray have also expressed interest, Iheanacho is thought to favor remaining in England for family reasons. However, no formal contract negotiations have taken place as yet.

Adding to the growing competition for Iheanacho's signature is Aston Villa.

The Midlands club are also reportedly eyeing the Nigerian as a potential back-up to star striker Ollie Watkins. With Jhon Duran linked with a move away, the Villans are keen to strengthen their attacking options, particularly with the prospect of Champions League football next season.
