In an interview with Radio Laziale via noibiancocelesti, praised the adaptability Dele-Bashiru, emphasising his ability to excel in various roles on the pitch.

The Lazio legend explained, “I think Dele-Bashiru can be a midfielder only in an emergency and is more naturally, as we also see with the Nigerian national team, a player accustomed to playing in the three-quarters. In case of absences in midfield, he can be an alternative in case of various injuries.”

He added, “He is a player inclined to play facing the opponent's goal; he can be adaptable, but Vecino can also play in the three-quarters. It depends on the type of match and the choices the coach wants to make.

Dele-Bashiru has made seven appearances for Biancoceleste, starting five matches and averaging 54 minutes per game. He has contributed one goal and two assists, all recorded in the UEFA Europa League.
