Super Eagles winger Moses Simon was the match winner for Nantes in their 1-0 victory over Rennes in Ligue 1 on Sunday evening.
The Nigerian forward scored in the 89th minute to secure all three points for his side.
Simon, who started the game for the Canaries, was a constant threat to the Rennes defence, delivering several dangerous crosses.
However, his teammates were unable to convert them into goals.
Rennes were reduced to 10 men just before half-time when center-back Mikayil Faye was sent off.
