Lecce Make Philip Otele Decision

Super Eagles winger Philip Otele has been seriously-linked with a transfer to the Serie A, with Frosinone and Lecce among the major clubs interested. In fact, there were reports that Lecce were frontrunners to get his signature.

However, it appears that the will no longer as both Basel and Lecce have failed to reach a compromise as regards securing his service for the long term. Read why here.

Otele still has two years on his contract at Basel, so the club does not seem to be in a hurry to sell him yet.

Leon Balogun Signs New Contract

38-year-old Leon Balogun has been out of the Super Eagles fold since 2022, but he has remained very active. Last season, he was with Cypriot side Aris, but he left after the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
