David Okereke Completes Benevento Move

Nigerian striker David Okereke has completed a transfer to Benevento in a free transfer. The 28-year-old marksman became a free agent at the end of last season, when his contract at Cremonese expired. And although he was linked with some clubs in the Turkish Super Lig, he has decided to stay in Italy.

Okereke will now play in the Serie B next season, and will be looking to help his new side gain promotion to the Italian top-flight. Read more.

Since before the end of last season, there has been talk that Yira Sor will leave Genk during this summer transfer window. Now, it has been confirmed.

The Super Eagles winger has sealed a loan move to newly-promoted club Amedspor. He now joins compatriot Gift Orban who also completed a loan move to the club a few weeks ago. Amedspor’s main target for the season will be to stay afloat in the Super Lig, and they will be hoping that their new Nigerian players can help them massively. Read more.
