Calvin Bassey to Inter Milan Update

Super Eagles defender Calvin Bassey has recently been strongly-linked to Italian Serie A club Inter Milan, and that is likely due to his contract which is set to expire at the end of next season.

Bassey has been one of the best players at Craven Cottage for the past three seasons, and the belief is that they will try to tie him down to a new contract in the coming weeks.

But in the meantime, the 26-year-old does not seem to be bothered by the situation. He was in action for his side on Saturday, when they played out a goalless draw with Liverpool, and he was very good. Bassey won four of his five duels, had an 82% pass accuracy and led the team well as captain.

For now, there is no confirmation that he will be leaving, but between now and January, a lot could happen.
