Victor Osimhen and Aleksey Batrakov will look to maintain their impressive form when Galatasaray host Amed SK at RAMS Park in a crucial Süper Lig encounter on Saturday, November 7.
The matchday 11 fixture could have a major impact on the title race, with Galatasaray facing a serious challenge from their visitors.
Okan Buruk’s side have collected 25 points from their opening 10 matches, but Amed SK are just two points behind with 23. A win for the visitors would take them above the defending champions and send them to the top of the table.
The match also brings Nigerian forwards Osimhen and Gift Orban face to face. Both strikers have scored nine league goals this season and will be eager to add to their tallies.

Osimhen and Batrakov give Galatasaray attacking firepower
Osimhen has led Galatasaray’s attack this season, scoring 10 goals and providing three assists in 11 appearances across all competitions.
The former Napoli forward has found the net nine times in eight Süper Lig appearances, with his other goal coming in the Champions League.
He has also developed a productive partnership with Russian midfielder Batrakov, who joined Galatasaray from Lokomotiv Moscow.
The 21-year-old has scored five goals and provided four assists in 12 appearances for the Turkish champions. Four of his goals have come in the Champions League, including a brace in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over VfB Stuttgart.

Batrakov has also scored once and provided three assists in eight league appearances, giving Buruk another attacking outlet alongside Osimhen.
Together, the pair have contributed 15 goals and seven assists this season. Galatasaray will need both players in good form against an Amed SK side that have won their last eight league matches.
Galatasaray target 40-game home unbeaten run
Galatasaray have another reason to approach Saturday’s match against Amed SK with determination.
The Turkish champions are unbeaten in their last 39 Süper Lig home matches at RAMS Park. Avoiding defeat against Amed SK would extend that run to 40 consecutive league games, equalling the club record, per HaberTurk.

Trabzonspor hold the Süper Lig record for the longest home unbeaten run, having gone 90 league matches without defeat in the early eighties.
Galatasaray have won four and drawn one of their five home league matches this season. Buruk’s men have also won their last five matches across all competitions, including their impressive Champions League win over Stuttgart
Amed, meanwhile, have collected just five points from four away fixtures. The visitors will travel to Istanbul in high spirits after beating Eyüpspor 5-1 in their previous league outing.
They can move above the defending champions with a victory, while Galatasaray are looking to protect their place at the top and extend their unbeaten home run.
