Samuel Chukwueze salary: How much Super Eagles star earns at AC Milan in 2026/27

Samuel Chukwueze is one of the highest-paid players at AC Milan in the 2026/27 season, Afrik-Foot reports.

According to figures published by Calcio e Finanza, the Nigeria international is listed on a net salary of €4 million for the season. That works out at about €76,923 per week before any performance-related bonuses.

Chukwueze’s figure puts him fourth in Milan’s salary ranking, although he shares that position with Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek. Only Gonçalo Ramos, Mike Maignan and Mario Gila are listed above him, each on €5 million net.

The salary comes as Chukwueze starts another season with Milan after returning from his loan spell at Fulham. He has already played 210 minutes across Milan’s first three Serie A matches, producing two assists.

Chukwueze earns €4m net at Milan

Calcio e Finanza estimates Chukwueze’s 2026/27 net salary at €4 million, excluding bonuses. His estimated gross cost to Milan is €5.24 million.

The weekly figure is about €76,923 net, based on a 52-week year. His monthly equivalent is roughly €333,333 net.

That places the 27-year-old Nigerian in an important part of Milan’s wage structure. Three players are above him at €5 million, while three others sit alongside him at €4 million.

The six players earning at least €4 million account for €27 million of Milan’s €64.8 million net wage bill. That is about 42% of the club’s total player salaries.

Milan’s overall wage bill has also risen sharply. Calcio e Finanza puts the club’s 2026/27 net total at €64.8 million, compared with €55.7 million in 2025/26. The gross figure has reached €103.14 million.

What Chukwueze’s salary means for Milan

Chukwueze’s place on the list puts him above established names such as Adrien Rabiot, Luka Modrić and Fikayo Tomori, who are each listed at €3.5 million net.

His salary also matches Pulisic’s, giving Milan two wide attacking players on the same reported basic wage. The comparison will draw attention because both players operate in attacking roles but have had different paths at the club.

Chukwueze has made a quick impact in the opening weeks of the new Serie A campaign. He started the 2-1 win at Torino on August 23 and the 2-0 home victory over Venezia on August 28 before coming off the bench against Juventus on September 6.

At Torino, he supplied an assist in Milan’s opening league game. He also created the pass for Alphadjo Cissé’s goal in the 1-1 draw at Juventus, giving him two assists from three league appearances.

The numbers give Chukwueze an early platform, but his €4 million salary sets a clear financial expectation. Milan are paying him at a level usually associated with players expected to make a significant contribution across the season.
