The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been handed a massive boost ahead of their friendlies against Portugal and Poland in June, Afrik Foot reports.
The 27-year-old’s last appearance for club and country came in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray at Anfield before the March International break.
Seven minutes into the clash, Osimhen clattered into Ibrahima Konate, fracturing his ulna.

Super Eagles get Osimhen update
The former Napoli man was withdrawn at half-time and that decapacitated the Galatasaray team, as they crumbled in front of the Kop.
After the game, it was confirmed that Osimhen would have to undergo surgery, but he opted to travel to Nigeria first.
While the rest of the Super Eagles players were in Antalya for the friendlies against Jordan and Iran, the 2023 CAF Player of the Year returned to Istanbul to go under the knife.

As per Galatasaray’s official page, Victor Osimhen is doing running drills on the field with his physiotherapist.
Kanal 3 also reports that the Galatasaray health team and the technical team are set to spend intensive hours training Osimhen for the Fenerbahçe derby on the 26th of April.
It is planned that the striker will return to full team training during the derby week and take his place in the starting eleven against Jose Mourinho’s former side.
The update is also good news for Eric Chelle, who was without his starman for the games against Jordan and Iran in March.

Barring any further injury problems, Osimhen should be back in action for the 2026 Unity Cup and the friendlies against Portugal and Poland.
