Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent weeks, Afrik Foot reports.
However, Turkish journalist and transfer expert Serdar Ali Çelikler has cast doubts about the possibility of the Nigerian leaving Istanbul this summer due to the huge financial commitment it’ll require.
A few days ago, Galatasaray’s vice president, Abdullah Kavukcu, revealed that the final decision of parting ways with Osimhen lies with the club’s president, Dursun Özbek, although he opined he wouldn’t sell the striker even if a huge fee came in.
“As Abdullah Kavukcu, I won’t sell Osimhen for 150 million Euros, but it’s an event that our president will decide.
“When you sell him, you need to find the player you’re going to replace him. It’s very important,” the 54-year-old said.

Serdar Ali Çelikler cast doubts over Osimhen’s Real Madrid move
Speaking on the Neo Spor YouTube channel, the 51-year-old spoke about the chances of Galatasaray finding another striker of Osimhen’s value if they chose to let the ex-Napoli striker walk.
“Galatasaray cannot buy a play like Jhon Duran. Because Galatasaray is not a poorly managed club. Duran has many problems,” Serdar Ali said in quotes revealed by Haber Sarikir Mizi.

“No one in Europe would pay 150 million Euros in transfer fees and 21 million Euros in net salary for Osimhen.
“If they propose between 75-100 million Euros in transfer fees, and Osimhen consents to lower his salary to 10 million Euros, then they could secure his services.
“If not, Osimhen would stay until his contract expires,” the transfer expert opined.

The striker, meanwhile, is enjoying life in Galatasaray after winning consecutive league titles for the CimBom Aslan.
