Per reports, Jose Mourinho is eyeing Victor Boniface in Fenerbahce’s bid to overhaul mortal enemy Galatasaray.
Having seen the impact that Victor Osimhen had on Turkish football, the legendary manager is now keen to recruit his compatriot as part of a triple swoop on Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. Potentially making the move across the Bosporus are Granit Xhaka and Alex Grimaldo.
Boniface, 24, has fallen out of favour at the BayArena after an impressive first season in German football, and with new manager Erik ten Hag pitching his tent with rival Patrik Schick, is set for the exit.

How much would a Victor Boniface transfer cost?
It is suggested that the Nigeria international would be allowed to leave Leverkusen for a €30 million fee, as Fenerbahce sporting director Devin Ozek aims to build a squad worthy of a title challenge.
Levent Ümit Erol: Sane transferinde Galatasaray'ın daha önde olduğuna inanıyorum. Fenerbahçe'nin hedefinde etki edecek en az 2 santrafor gündemde. Birisi Boniface.. Ama Boniface transferinde Fenerbahçe'nin rakibi Al Hilal.. @leventumiterol pic.twitter.com/oxB7N1twYa

Considering Victor Boniface has three years left on his current contract, that price can be considered a bargain.
Despite what is considered an underwhelming campaign, the striker still managed 11 goals in 27 appearances in all competitions for the 2024 Bundesliga champions.
