Former Turkey striker Necati Ates has advised Galatasaray to propose a player-plus-money swap involving Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyökeres to Arsenal, Afrik-Foot reports.
Over the last few months, Osimhen has been heavily linked with a transfer to several top European clubs, including Arsenal. This comes as a result of his brilliant performances for Galatasaray.
Despite being newly introduced to Turkish football, the 27-year-old striker has become one of the best players in the league.

Amid the speculation of a potential move to some of the biggest clubs in the world, Galatasaray have made their stance known, and it is that Osimhen remains a key piece in their project.
Nonetheless, they have slapped a price tag in the region of €140–150 million on any club that is seriously interested in acquiring his services in the summer transfer window.
This is a figure that would chase away most suitors, especially given Osimhen’s topsy-turvy campaign so far.

But in a related development, former Galatasaray player Ates has shared his thoughts on how he would like his former club to deal with Osimhen’s case.
Ates Tells Galatasaray What To Do With Victor Osimhen
As the speculation around Victor Osimhen lingers, former Galatasaray striker Necati Ates has advised his old club to part ways with the Super Eagles star.

Arsenal are one of the teams reportedly interested in Osimhen. This is because of the struggles of Gyökeres since arriving last summer. Therefore, Ates wants Galatasaray to take advantage of this.
In a recent interview, he said the Cimbom should propose a deal that would see them swap Osimhen for Gyökeres plus €50 million. As such, Galatasaray would be getting a top-class striker and an extra €50 million.
“You can do this; you sold Sara for 50 million euros, you can go and buy a player for 30 million,” Ates said.
“You sold Barış for 40, you can buy a player for 30. Osimhen is being heavily linked with Arsenal in the press, give him to Arsenal, pull Gyökeres from there and get 50 million on top. Very easy stuff.”
This suggestion from Ates would benefit Galatasaray significantly, as it would represent a record sale for a Turkish club. However, there are many factors to consider regarding this deal.

The price and value discrepancy of the proposal is quite significant. It would be surprising if Arsenal agreed to pay Galatasaray €50 million alongside a Gyökeres swap. It is also unlikely that the Swedish striker would be willing to move to Turkey.
The wage demands of Osimhen will also be key here, as he earns almost double what Gyökeres makes. As such, it remains to be seen how this type of deal would pan out. But for now, it looks quite unlikely.
