Record French Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain have rekindled their interest in Super Eagles and Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, Afrik Foot reports.
Le Parisien were linked with the 27-year-old during his time in Napoli. The Club’s President, Aurelien De Laurentiis, confirmed that Luis Enrique’s side submitted an offer worth over €200m offer from PSG for Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.
The Georgian ended up sealing a switch to PSG for a €70m fee in January, while Osimhen spent the 2024-25 season on loan with Turkish giants Galatasaray.
The Nigerian eventually joined Okan Buruk’s side for €75m, and Napoli ended up making less than they would have if they’d accepted PSG’s initial offer.

Paris Saint-Germain rekindle Osimhen interest
As per Spanish outlet Fichajes, the reigning UEFA Champions League winners are keen on reuniting Victor Osimhen with his former teammate.
The pair played a crucial role in winning Napoli’s Scudetto in the 2022/2023 season, the club’s first league title in over three decades.
However, they face competition from Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Real Madrid heading into the summer transfer window.

According to the report, PSG will only make an official move if they part ways with Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos.
The 24-year-old has scored 45 goals since joining the club in 2023, but has been second fiddle to Ousmane Dembele, often coming off the bench for his cameos.
Ramos has been linked to teams like Juventus, AC Milan, and Aston Villa. If the Portuguese leaves the Parc des Princes, the club will need a striker who fits into Enrique’s system, and that’s where Victor Osimhen comes in.
The Super Eagles forward is a threat in the air, something the club’s attack cannot boast at the moment. Also, he presses relentlessly, finishes impeccably, and helps the team defensively, all of the features Enrique wants from his attackers.
In addition, his previous experience in the French Ligue with LOSC Lille means he’ll have no problem adapting to life in Paris.

The Ligue 1 leaders are prepared to fork out around 75 million euros, but Galatasaray are demanding almost double that amount.
