AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze, has expressed his desire for a link-up with international teammate Victor Osimhen at the San Siro.

Osimhen, currently one of Europe’s most sought-after strikers, has been at the center of intense transfer speculation this summer.

The 25-year-old forward, who played a pivotal role in Napoli's Serie A title triumph last season, has been linked with several top European clubs. However, his staggering €130 million price tag has deterred many potential suitors, most prominently Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), from making a concrete offer.

Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen reunion at Milan?

During an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chukwueze revealed that he has been in contact with Osimhen about the possibility of a move to Milan.

While comparing his speed with Milan teammate Rafael Leão's, Chukwueze humorously slipped in a comment about Victor Osimhen’s potential move, further fueling speculation about the striker’s next destination.

“Who is faster between me and Rafa [Leao]? Without the ball, him. With the ball, me. Leao is one of the top three in Serie A and between the other two there is my friend Osimhen, who I hope stays in Italy.

“Where will Osimhen go? I would like to close my eyes, open them again and see him here at Milan. I always say to him ‘Are you sure you don’t want to come?’. And he says: ‘Samuel, you know it’s difficult’,” Chukwueze said.

Chukwueze and Osimhen have a long-standing relationship that dates back to winning the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

They are also prominent members of the Super Eagles and both featured at the last Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in the Ivory Coast.
