Victor Osimhen’s future could again be one of the biggest talking points of the summer as fresh reports suggest Galatasaray are already making contingency plans should the Nigerian striker leave Istanbul, Afrik-Foot reports.
According to French outlet Debast Sport as per BeinSports Turkey, the Super Lig champions have identified Paris Saint-Germain forward Randal Kolo Muani as a possible replacement if Osimhen departs before the start of the 2026-27 campaign.
Galatasaray are said to be closely monitoring developments surrounding the French international, whose future at PSG remains uncertain. The report claims that the Istanbul giants have intensified their interest as they seek to prepare for every possible scenario involving Osimhen.

The Super Eagles star is currently the most valuable player in Turkish football. After a sensational loan spell during the 2024-25 season, Galatasaray moved decisively to secure his services permanently from Napoli in a deal worth €75 million, breaking the club’s transfer record.
Osimhen signed a long-term contract running until June 2029 and has become the face of Galatasaray’s project both on and off the pitch. His goals, leadership and popularity among supporters have helped establish him as one of the most influential players in the club’s recent history.
Despite that commitment, transfer speculation continues to surround the Super Eagles star. Several elite European clubs are believed to be monitoring his situation, with Premier League sides Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal frequently linked with a move for the 27-year-old striker.

Victor Osimhen: Galatasaray hold strong position
While rumours continue to circulate, Galatasaray remain in a strong negotiating position regarding Victor Osimhen’s future.
Club president Dursun Aydin Ozbek has previously made it clear that the striker’s contract contains no fixed release clause, meaning the Turkish champions maintain complete control over any future negotiations. Reports in Turkey suggest the club values Osimhen at between €100 million and €150 million, a figure that could make any transfer extremely difficult.
There is also a special agreement with Napoli that further complicates matters. If Galatasaray were to sell Osimhen to another Serie A club before 2027, they would reportedly face a €70 million penalty payment, while Napoli would also be entitled to a percentage of any future profit from his sale.
With PSG also interested in Osimhen, the French giants could even arrive at a swap deal involving Kolo Muani and the Nigerian forward.
However, Osimhen has made no secret of his desire to remain at Istanbul for at least another season as he frequently appreciates the affection of the Galatasaray faithful.
