The potential move of Stellenbosch FC left-back Fawaaz Basadien to Mamelodi Sundowns appears to be gaining rapid momentum, signaled by his notable absence from Stellies training this morning, as reported by SABC Sport.
Sundowns, who along with Kaizer Chiefs have long admired the Bafana Bafana international (though Chiefs recently signed two left-backs), seem to be prioritizing Basadien as a key target for the upcoming 2025/26 season and the MTN8.

According to the Public Broadcaster, Basadien observed the morning training session from the sidelines.
Stellenbosch FC have, for some time, been unwilling to part with their defender, going as far as offering him a new long-term contract extension to demand high figures from interested clubs.
