Sekhukhune United striker Bradley Grobler has reveled in his performance against Kaizer Chiefs which saw him score twice and set up the third as they won 3-1 at the FNB Stadium.
Babina Noko ended Kaizer Chiefs’ great start to the seasons, handing Nasreddine Nabi’s side a first loss and also seeing the Glamour Boys’ run without conceding come to a stop.
Grobler was at the centre of the demolition job on enemy territory as he opened the scoring after just four minutes before Flavio Silva equalised for Chiefs eight minutes later but he would score his second after the break before setting up Thabang Monare for the third.

That saw Chiefs receive a reality check but it was a personal triumph for the 37-year-old striker who admitted he had to play through the pain as he came into the match ill.
“I didn't train in the past four days. I had a chest infection,” Grobler told SuperSport TV after the match.
The veteran striker then explained how it felt good to inflict pain on Chiefs, who rejected him in the past over his age.

“I have to be honest, it feels nice to score against a team who, six, seven years ago, told me I was finished and past my prime.”
The Sandton-born striker joined Sekhukhune United ahead of this season after 12 years at the now defunct SuperSport United, where he came close to joining Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, but a move never materialised.
Following his brace, Grobler has netted 102 PSL goals, has 12 in 21 matches against Chiefs, while he has six in nine matches for his new team.
