Kaizer Chiefs have been linked to a number of top coaches and one of them is ex-Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly boss Pitso Mosimane.
Mosimane, one of the most successful and experienced coaches in Africa, has seen his name linked to Chiefs several times and he has also been asked about it in interviews.
The 61-year-old has addressed the issue again and appeared to be telling the Glamour Boys to make the move as he has not closed the door on the chance to coach South Africa’s most popular and successful club.
“I have answered this question so many times but I understand that it will always come back,” Mosimane said on Marawa Sports World Wide.

“I have said it, I would never say never and I am a football coach, a professional coach. Why should I not coach Kaizer Chiefs, why should I not coach Orlando Pirates, why should I not coach Mamelodi Sundowns?”
However, ‘Jingles’ says he has never received an offer to coach the Soweto giants and can only wait and see if Chiefs make the move before he can make a decision.
“You cannot put it on me…you can only put it on me once it [offer] is on the table. Then you can ask me are you accepting or not accepting? I do not want to talk about something that does not exist,” he added.

While there have been calls to Chiefs to hire Mosimane, the three-time Champions League winner and five-time PSL winning coach, says it is not just in South Africa that he can coach, revealing that he receives a lot of offers and will select from based on a number of factors.
“Every maybe 10 days, there is somebody who says do you want to come over here and coach? I can show you my phone but also, is it the right timing with other people, is it the right time to go there?’ he posed, adding: “Champions League means a lot to me.”
Mosimane has been without a job since leaving Iranian club Esteghlal FC in January this year while Chiefs are under co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze, who were promoted to the hot seat until the end of the season after their boss Nasreddine Nabi left the club in September.
