Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman is reportedly attracting interest from Serie A giants Juventus.

The Nigeria international has garnered attention from top European clubs due to his impressive performances, including a standout showing against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the final of the UEFA Europa League, where he became the first player ever to score a hat-trick in a Europa League final.

Leverkusen came incredibly close to going through the entire 2023/24 season without defeat in all competitions — until, that is, they encountered a five-foot-nine Nigerian giant.

Lookman scored 16 goals in 45 games for La Dea across all competitions in the recently ended season.

Where is Ademola Lookman headed?

With reports of several clubs expressing interest in the Nigerian forward, it remains uncertain where Ademola Lookman's future lies, particularly considering his club's valuation of him.

Lookman has in the past weeks been linked with English Premier clubs, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool and German giants, Bayern Munich and, latterly, Juventus.

It is reported that the English clubs are prepared to make an offer close to the €60 million (£51 million) asking price, despite the player joining Atalanta less than two years ago for just €15 million (£12.7 million).

Previous reports noted his difficulties in adjusting to life in Italy, pointing to significant cultural differences compared to his experiences in Germany and England. Despite these challenges, his on-field performance remained impressive.

Lookman has previously played in England, having featured for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City.

Amidst the clamour of transfer rumours, one question remains unanswered: where will Lookman ultimately find himself?

Lookman was named Atalanta's Player of the Season for the second consecutive time, beating teammates Éderson and Teun Koopmeiners to the award after a season that has seen him collect medals in all but one of the competitions he has featured in for club and country, averaging more than one goal involvement every other game.

Lookman's contract with Atalanta runs out in June 2026.
