Several Bundesliga clubs are watching Super Eagles and Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu closely ahead of the summer transfer window, Afrik-Foot reports.
Clubs including Bayer Leverkusen, VfL Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen are among those keeping tabs on the Nigerian forward, according to Turkiye Today. The reports also link TSG Hoffenheim with a possible move. All four sides are said to be preparing approaches once the transfer window opens.
Onuachu only joined Trabzonspor from Southampton last summer, but his impact in Turkey has been immediate. His performances in the Turkish Super Lig have shot his reputation beyond the roof, and Bundesliga scouts have been following him closely for weeks.

The level of interest suggests that clubs in Germany see him as a player who could improve their attacking options straight away.
Wolfsburg and Hoffenheim, in particular, are believed to be looking at him as a leading striker, someone who can start regularly and carry the goal-scoring burden. Leverkusen’s interest appears more cautious, with the club viewing him as part of a wider attacking group rather than the main signing.
Paul Onuachu: Form driving transfer attention for Super Eagles star
The main reason for this growing interest in Paul Onuachu is simply his prolific form in front of goal. The 31-year-old has scored 21 times and provided two assists in just 24 league appearances this season.

That return has placed him among the most effective forwards in Turkey and favourite in the race for the league’s top scorer award.
More importantly, his style of play has stood out. Onuachu’s height and strength make him a constant threat in the air, while his finishing inside the box has been sharp and reliable. He has shown he can convert chances with few touches, an ability that clubs in Germany value highly.
His consistency has also been key. Rather than scoring in bursts, he has delivered goals across the season, helping Trabzonspor stay competitive. That reliability is one of the reasons Bundesliga sides believe he could adapt well to their league.

There is also reported interest from Saudi’s Al-Ahli, but the focus appears strongest from Germany, where clubs are actively planning moves.
Despite this attention, Trabzonspor are expected to resist offers. The club see Onuachu as central to their attack and are not keen to lose a player who has delivered so many goals in such a short time.
Onuachu, though, may be open to a new adventure in Germany after a forgettable spell in England.
