Victor Osimhen’s impressive season at Galatasaray appears set to continue, with the Turkish club ruling out a January departure for the Nigerian striker despite interest from Premier League giants.
According to Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany, Galatasaray remain “100% convinced” that Osimhen will stay with the club beyond the current transfer window.
The report further states that there are currently no ongoing negotiations with other teams regarding a potential move for the prolific forward.
Galatasaray stand firm despite loan clause
Osimhen, 26, joined Galatasaray on loan from Napoli during the summer after failing to secure a permanent move to Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Al-Hilal.
Since arriving in Turkey, the Super Eagles star has been in sensational form, netting 13 goals and registering five assists across all competitions. This includes 10 goals in 12 Süper Lig matches and three strikes in the Europa League.
Although his loan agreement reportedly includes a break clause that would allow Napoli to sell him in January for a fee of around £62m/€75m, Galatasaray are reportedly unbothered by the potential clause.

Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal have all been linked with the striker, with the Red Devils particularly keen to bolster their struggling attack in January.
However, the financial demands of any deal, coupled with Galatasaray’s firm stance, have left the Premier League clubs facing significant obstacles in their pursuit of Osimhen.
Reports also suggest that Osimhen himself has turned down approaches that would see him leave Galatasaray midseason.
The Nigerian is reportedly determined to see out the campaign and help Galatasaray secure silverware, including their 25th Süper Lig title.
For now, it seems that any potential move for Osimhen will have to wait until the summer.
