Super Eagles duo Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey saw action as Fulham secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League on Tuesday.
Uncharacteristically, both Nigerians started on the bench as Fulham claimed all three points at Molineux.

Fulham wasted no time making an impact, taking the lead in the very first minute through Ryan Sessegnon, who stunned the home crowd with a well-taken goal.
Wolves responded , pressing forward in search of an equalizer and their persistence paid off in the 18th minute when João Gomes scored to tie the game.
Both sides continued to battle for dominance, but neither could find another breakthrough before half-time, as the first 45 minutes ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Just two minutes into the second half, Fulham regained the advantage through Rodrigo Muniz, who put the visitors ahead once again.
Wolves pushed for another equalizer, but Fulham held firm defensively to see out the game and secure an important away win.
How Iwobi and Bassey fared against Wolves
Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey both came off the bench to help Fulham secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Wolves.
Iwobi was introduced in the 67th minute, while Bassey entered the game in the 76th minute as Fulham strengthened their defense to see out the win.
Iwobi played for 23 minutes and made a notable contribution. He registered one shot on goal, which was blocked, and successfully completed his only dribbling attempt.

The midfielder had 18 touches and completed 10 of his 18 attempted passes, recording a 71% pass accuracy.
He also created one key pass.
Defensively, Iwobi made one tackle and won it but did not contest any aerial duels.
Bassey featured for just 14 minutes but was instrumental in tightening Fulham’s defense.
The defender made four crucial clearances to help keep Wolves at bay.
He had 12 touches of the ball and was highly efficient in possession, completing all six of his attempted passes for a perfect 100% pass accuracy as Fulham held on for the win.
