He has scored 12 goals and contributed two assists in just 26 appearances, playing a key role in West Brom's push for promotion, as they sit in 6th place.

The former Sunderland star has 18 months remaining on his current West Brom contract. Maja scored three goals in 15 Premier League appearances during a six-month loan spell with Fulham in 2021.

However, the majority of his experience in English football has been gained in the Championship and League One.

Maja has earned one cap for Nigeria under former coach Gernot Rohr. He made his international debut on 10 September, 2019, coming on as a substitute for Victor Osimhen in the final moments of a 2–2 friendly draw against Ukraine.
