With the impressive performances of highly-rated 19-year-old right-back, Michael Kayode catching the eye of several top European clubs, Fiorentina have reportedly slapped a €30 million price tag on his head.
Kayode's rise to prominence has been swift and impressive. He established himself as a regular starter for Fiorentina last season, making 22 appearances out of a possible 26 in Serie A. His composure and defensive solidity were evident throughout the season, with only two yellow cards marring his otherwise clean record.
Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, is keen to bolster his squad with a new right-back, and Kayode's performances last season have firmly placed him on the Spurs' radar. Aston Villa, meanwhile, are also interested in securing the young defender's services, setting the stage for a potential bidding war between the two Premier League rivals.

Fiorentina hesitant to sell, but open to offers
Despite the interest, Fiorentina are initially reluctant to part ways with Michael Kayode.
The youngster is under contract with the club until June 2028, and they value him as a key part of their plans. However, according to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), a significant offer of €30 million could tempt them to consider a sale.
The question now lies with Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa. Would they be willing to meet Fiorentina's asking price for the young defender? While Kayode's potential is undeniable, the hefty price tag could be a stumbling block for both clubs.
