Premier League side Ipswich Town are reportedly interested in signing Nigerian winger Ahmad Ghali.
The 24-year-old currently plies his trade with Czech club Slovan Liberec, where his performances have reportedly caught the eye of scouts across Europe, especially from England and Italy.
Despite being under contract with Slovan Liberec until the summer of 2027, the Czech club is open to offers during the January transfer window.
Who is Ahmad Ghali?
Ghali began his professional career in Nigeria with Mountain of Fire and Miracles (MFM) FC before earning a spot in Nigeria's U-20 squad.
He missed out from making the cut for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland in 2019 but represented the country at the 2019 African Games in Morocco.
Ghali's showing at the games earned him a move to Slovak side AS Trenčín, where he made 55 appearances and continued to develop his game.
Since joining Slovan Liberec, Ghali has been a versatile asset for the team, making 72 appearances across various positions.
He has contributed four goals and 13 assists, demonstrating his ability to impact games from different areas of the pitch.
