Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze came off the bench to inspire AC Milan to a spirited 3-1 comeback victory over Bologna on Friday night at the San Siro, setting the tone ahead of their highly anticipated Coppa Italia final clash on Wednesday.
The visitors broke the deadlock in the 49th minute through Riccardo Orsolini—ironically, a player strongly linked with a move to AC Milan this summer.
But the Rossoneri responded with a spirited comeback, as Santiago Giménez equalised in the 73rd minute, Christian Pulisic put them ahead six minutes later, and Chukwueze provided the assist for Giménez’s second goal, sealing a 3-1 victory for Milan.

The victory marked a crucial boost for Milan, who will face Bologna once again in Wednesday’s Coppa Italia final.
For Chukwueze, it marked his first appearance in three matches, having remained an unused substitute in Milan's previous outings against Venezia and Genoa.
