Samuel Chukwueze has completed a season-long loan move to Fulham from AC Milan.
The agreement includes a buy option, though it is not mandatory, and the total package could rise above €25 million depending on appearances and performance-related clauses.
The 26-year-old winger arrives in London after a difficult spell in Italy, where he struggled to impose himself in Serie A. Since joining Milan from Villarreal in July 2023 with considerable fanfare, he has managed only four league goals across three campaigns, unable to consistently reproduce the dynamism that once made him one of La Liga’s most exciting wide players.

Chukwueze links up with Nigerian contingent at Craven Cottage
Chukwueze’s signing ends Fulham’s search for reinforcements on the flanks.
The club had considered a number of alternatives in recent weeks, including Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson, Chelsea’s Raheem Sterling and Basel’s Philip Otele, but ultimately prioritised the Nigeria international and secured his services before the close of the window.

The move also extends Fulham’s longstanding Nigerian connection.
Chukwueze will play alongside Calvin Bassey and Alex Iwobi, continuing a line of Super Eagles at Craven Cottage that has previously included Dickson Etuhu, Josh Maja, Ola Aina and Ademola Lookman.
The task ahead is straightforward in description but demanding in execution: rediscover the incisive dribbling and cutting edge that defined his Villarreal years and restore himself as a decisive figure at club and international level.
