Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke faces an uncertain future at Sevilla ahead of the summer transfer window, with growing speculation over where he could be playing next season, Afrik-Foot reports.
The 28-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs ahead of the new campaign. Premier League sides Fulham, Sunderland, and Leeds United are reportedly monitoring his situation, while Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen have also been linked with the Nigerian winger.
Ejuke moved to Spain on a free transfer from Russian club CSKA Moscow in the summer of 2024. However, he has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter, with many of his appearances coming from the bench.

Since arriving in Spain, the Nigerian has made 54 appearances across all competitions for the record UEFA Europa League winners, including 29 times last season although he made just seven starts across La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
Why Sevilla could sell Chidera Ejuke this summer
Super Eagles forward Chidera Ejuke finds himself at a crucial stage of his Sevilla career as the summer transfer window approaches, with an important decision on his future.
The winger has been mostly restricted to substitute roles since joining the Andalusian club and has attracted interest from clubs across Europe and also from Saudi Arabia.

According to Transfermarkt, the 28-year-old is valued at around €4 million, although Sevilla are reportedly willing to consider offers in the region of €6 million for a sale this summer.
While the Andalusian club may not have been keen on parting ways with a player of Ejuke’s quality, especially with the brilliance he showed in the latter stages of last season when he was called upon, they may be forced to cash in on the Nigerian this summer.
One main reason Sevilla could be open to selling Ejuke is his contractual situation. The Nigerian forward’s current deal runs until the end of the 2026-27 season, which could see the club lose him for free if he does not agree to a contract extension.
Having signed the 28-year-old on a free transfer from CSKA Moscow, Sevilla would prefer to recoup a transfer fee rather than risk seeing him depart for free and this summer represents the ideal opportunity to cash in.
Another major factor is Sevilla’s financial situation and any fee received for Ejuke would represent pure profit for the Spanish club, given that he arrived without a transfer fee. Meanwhile, a sale would also help ease financial pressures and provide extra funds to reinvest in the squad ahead of the transfer window.

While Ejuke may be open to staying at Sevilla, the club’s financial situation and his contract status could open the door to a summer exit.
With several clubs showing interest ahead of the transfer window, the Super Eagles forward may find himself on the move in the coming weeks.
