Nigeria’s Gift Monday and Edna Imade have been shortlisted for the Spanish Liga F Player of the Month award for November.

The UD Tenerife and Granada stars will vie for the accolade alongside top players like Barcelona Femini’s Patri Guijarro, Atlético de Madrid’s Bøe Risa, Real Sociedad Femenino’s Andreia Jacinto, and Madrid CFF’s Allegra Poljak.

Monday was instrumental for Tenerife across three Liga F matches, leading her team to two wins and a draw. She registered one goal and an assist in 214 minutes.

The 22-year-old’s attacking efforts included four shots on target and two successful crosses, showcasing her ability to create scoring opportunities. However, her dribbling struggles (0/4) and a couple of missed big chances reveal areas for growth.

In duels, Monday’s physical presence stood out. She won 11 out of 22 ground duels and 5 of 11 aerial battles.

Granada’s Edna Imade made her mark with three goals in 263 minutes, leading her team to two wins and a draw.

The Morocco-born forward, who identifies as Nigerian due to her parents' background, displayed a sharp eye for goal, recording six shots on target and hitting the woodwork once. Her three missed big chances indicate potential for more efficiency.

Imade’s all-round contributions included 90 touches, 36 accurate passes at 73%, and two successful crosses. She also dominated aerial duels, winning 9 of 16, and held her own in ground battles with 7 victories from 10 contests.
