Turkish champions Galatasaray have left the door open to a potential permanent move for Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen ahead of next season.

Osimhen, currently on a season-long loan at Turkish champions Galatasaray from Napoli, has been in stellar form, contributing goals and assists as Cimbom strengthens its grip at the top of the Süper Lig table.

The 26-year-old forward has garnered interest from several of Europe’s top clubs, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Juventus, as well as Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, with Galatasaray also eager to secure his services on a permanent deal.

The club’s General Secretary, Eray Yazgan, has confirmed that while the current focus is on ending the season on a high, they would be open to striking a deal—provided the conditions are favourable for both parties.

Eray Yazgan hints at permanent Victor Osimhen move

In a recent interview with HT Spor, as shared by Fotomac, Yazgan stated that Galatasaray are leaving the door open for a potential permanent move for Osimhen, although their primary focus remains on finishing the current season strongly.

“First of all, let's all enjoy watching a player like Victor Osimhen in the Super League this year. Then, if the conditions are right for both our club and the player, it can happen.

“This is not the subject of today. Our sole concentration right now, Victor Osimhen's and all the other players' sole concentration is to complete the season with 2 trophies, the rest is just details.”

Since his arrival in Istanbul, the towering forward has scored 31 goals and provided six assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Osimhen's loan spell with the Turkish champions is set to conclude at the end of the season, with his contract at Napoli including a €75 million (£63.2 million) buyout clause.
