Victor Osimhen’s proposed move to Al Hilal is about to hit the rocks, per latest reports.
The Saudi club have made no secret of their desire to acquire the Nigeria international, with new coach Simone Inzaghi approving the deal ahead of the imminent Club World Cup in the United States.
With a salary package believed to be to the tune of €30 million per year and a bid totaling €70 million in transfer fee and add-ons made to Napoli, Al Hilal looked to be in pole position.

Is Victor Osimhen transfer to Al Hilal still on?
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the striker has turned down the offer from the Saudi giants, and may now favour staying at Galatasaray, with whom he spent the 2024/25 season on loan.

Parent club Napoli have also rebuffed Al Hilal’s initial bid, insisting on the full release clause of €75 million. Still, it is understood that il Partenopei favour the bid from the Middle East, and so would be open to a negotiation.
However, with Osimhen’s stance in opposition, their interest may now be dead in the water entirely.
