Victor Osimhen’s unbeaten record: 7 clubs Galatasaray striker has never lost against

Victor Osimhen has faced numerous familiar opponents during his career in Europe, but several clubs have yet to beat him.

The Super Eagles striker has played in Germany for Wolfsburg, Belgium for Charleroi, France for Lille, Italy for Napoli and Turkey for Galatasaray. He has scored against some of his toughest opponents, while others have struggled to get the better of his teams.

Fenerbahçe are among the seven clubs, having failed to beat Osimhen in six meetings. The Super Eagles star scored twice to help Galatasaray secure a 2-1 victory over their rivals in the Intercontinental Derby on Monday.

Italian sides Udinese, Cagliari and Torino also feature on the list, alongside Turkish clubs İstanbul Başakşehir, Antalyaspor and Kayserispor.

3. Cagliari

Cagliari could not beat Osimhen during his time in Italy, with the striker winning two of their five meetings and drawing the other three.

The 27-year-old scored five goals and provided two assists against the Sardinian club, finding the net in all five matches. One of his memorable moments came in February 2022, when his late header rescued a 1-1 draw for Napoli.

4. Torino

7. Kayserispor

Kayserispor complete the list, having lost all four matches against Osimhen’s teams. The Super Eagles forward has scored five goals and provided one assist in those games.

Before leaving Napoli and Italy, Osimhen sealed his place as Nigeria’s greatest goalscorer in Serie A history. He was also the first African to win the Serie A Golden Boot award.

Now at Galatasaray, Osimhen has already climbed the chart to become the club’s third all-time foreign goalscorer. Ten more goals and he will take the crown off Argentine forward Mauro Icardi for himself.
